Here are three things to know.
1. The hospital intends to complete four projects. These projects include an inpatient rehabilitation facility, a radiation therapy center, a medical office building and a residency program expansion, according to the report.
2. GSMC is asking the city for $1 million in financial incentives for the initiatives. The hospital has secured funding for the radiation therapy center.
3. The Myrtle Beach City Council approved the incentives last week, but the proposal must pass another council reading, reports WMBF.
