The payment plans will be available via Salucro’s new patient financing portal for most customers. Under the partnership, patients may choose a Parasail payment plan product, such as a loan search engine called Parasail Select, which is designed for elective procedures, or other plans that offer payment options with no interest to patients for non-elective medical bills, according to a news release. No-collection payment plans through Parasail are also available for some patients.
“Patients and providers both need a better solution,” Salucro CEO Clayton Bain said. “Allowing patients to choose how they want to pay their medical bills, just like they do with other products and services they buy, is how Salucro has helped providers and hospitals collect more. By adding Parasail, patients can now choose to spread their bills out over time as easily as choosing a pay-over-time plan for a phone or a car.”
