Bob Hayes, PhD, chief customer officer at TCELab, has color-coded hospitals across the United States based on their Patient Advocacy Index score in a new, interactive map.

The PAI score was reached by averaging two general survey measures (overall hospital quality rating and percentage of people who would recommend the hospital). Clicking on the hospital’s location provides further data on additional measures from the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems.

Colors reflect PAI scores as follows:

Red: 0 to 20
Purple: 21 to 40
Yellow: 41 to 60
Blue: 61 to 80
Green: 81 to 100
