S&P upgraded Tualatin, Ore.-based Legacy Meridian Health System’s rating to “A+” from “A”; Hackensack (N.J.) University Medical Center’s rating to “A+” from “A-“; and North Bergen, N.J.-based Palisades Medical Center’s bond rating to “A-” from “BBB-“.
“According to the S&P Global Ratings credit analyst, the upgrades reflect the strong combined enterprise and financial profile of our newly created network as well as our vision for the future,” said Robert Garrett, co-CEO of Hackensack Meridian Health. “The ratings substantiate our healthy position in the market and our outlook for continued clinical integration, growth and innovation.”
