S&P Global Ratings revised Pullman (Wash.) Regional Hospital’s outlook to stable from positive and affirmed its “BBB-” long-term rating on its bonds.

The affirmation is a result of several positive and negative factors, including the hospital’s dominant market share, growing service area and limited balance sheet.

The outlook revision is a result of the updated rating criteria for nonprofit hospitals. Applying the new criteria, S&P no longer believes a higher rating is likely within the two-year outlook period.
