“The outlook revision is based on PRMC’s improving financial profile and favorable market position,” said S&P analyst Patrick Zagar. The ratings agency also credited the medical center’s revised outlook to its falling debt and strong balance sheet, which provides the hospital with the flexibility needed to respond to potential operational challenges.

S&P Global Ratings also affirmed the “BBB+” rating on PRMC’s series 2015 fixed-rate hospital revenue refunding bonds.
