S&P revises Care New England Health System outlook to positive

 
S&P Global Ratings has revised the outlook of Providence, R.I.-based Care New England Health System to positive.

The outlook revision reflects the system’s improved performance after the closure of Providence-based Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island in January 2018, as well as its merger agreement with Boston-based Partners HealthCare.

S&P also affirmed its “BB-” long-term rating for Care New England.
