S&P raises Martin Memorial Medical Center rating to ‘A+’

S&P Global Ratings has raised its long-term rating for Stuart, Fla.-based Martin Medical Center from A- to A+.

The upgrade is based on the Cleveland Clinic’s acquisition of the hospital, which was completed on Jan. 1.

The rating outlook is stable and reflects the hospital’s strong and expanding market position as a result of integration with the Cleveland Clinic.
