S&P raises Greenwich Hospital rating to ‘AA-‘ after joining Yale New Haven Health

S&P Global Ratings raised its underlying rating for Greenwich (Conn.) Hospital from “A+” to “AA-” after the hospital was acquired by Yale New Haven (Conn.) Health.

The rating reflects Yale New Haven Health’s strong business position, healthy multiyear financial performance and effective systemwide governance.

The rating outlook is stable.
