S&P downgrades Kalispell Regional Medical Center to ‘BBB’

S&P Global Ratings downgraded its rating on Kalispell (Mont.) Regional Medical Center to “BBB” from “A-.”

The downgrade is a result of Kalispell’s net operating loss in fiscal year 2017, which diluted restrictive reserves, as well as its thinner liquidity position and unfavorable debt position.

The outlook is stable at the lower rating.
