S&P assigns ‘AA-‘ rating to Oregon Health and Science University’s bonds

S&P Global Ratings assigned an “AA-” rating to Portland-based Oregon Health and Science University’s $61.6 million of series 2017A bonds.

“The rating reflects our assessment of OHSU’s very strong enterprise and financial profiles,” said S&P analyst Allison Bretz.

The ratings agency also affirmed the “AA-” and “AAA/A-1+” ratings on OHSU’s existing debt and series 2012B-3 and 2012C bonds, respectively.

The outlook is stable.
