S&P assigns ‘A-‘ rating to Stamford Hospital’s bonds

S&P Global Ratings has assigned an “A-” long-term rating to Stamford (Conn.) Hospital’s series 2016K bonds.

S&P also affirmed its “A-” rating on Stamford’s series 2010 and 2012 revenue bonds.

The outlook is negative. “The negative outlook reflects our view of Stamford’s expected continued balance sheet weakening due to spending for the campus modernization project and additional debt,” said S&P analyst Jessica Goldman.
