S&P assigns ‘A’ rating to Orlando Health’s bonds

Standard & Poor’s Ratings Services has assigned an “A” rating to Orlando (Fla.) Health’s series 2016A, 2016B and 2016C bonds.

“The rating reflects sustained improvement in operating results generating margins and debt service coverage that are above median levels and a significant reduction in pro forma maximum annual debt service following the 2016 bond issuance,” said S&P credit analyst Jessica Goldman.

The outlook is stable, reflecting Orlando Health’s lower maximum annual debt service requirement, improved operating performance and ongoing strategic planning efforts.
