S&P assigns 'A+' rating to Indiana's Marion General Hospital

S&P Global Ratings assigned an "A+" long-term rating to Marion (Ind.) General Hospital.

The rating reflects the hospital's excellent balance sheet, though it also incorporates Marion General Hospital's small primary service area. Nevertheless, the hospital has maintained a dominant market position for many years and a good relationship with its physician group.

The rating outlook is stable.
