Concurrently, S&P affirmed its “A+” long-term rating and underlying rating to Memorial Hermann.

The assignment and affirmation are based on several factors, including the health system’s leading market position, strong management team, growing utilization and healthy financial profile.

The outlook is stable, reflecting S&P’s expectation that Memorial Hermann’s strong enterprise profiles will boost financial metrics in the future, despite higher capital spending.
