S&P Global Ratings affirmed Beaver, Pa.-based Heritage Valley Health System's "A+" rating on its series 2012 revenue bonds.
The affirmation is a result of several factors, including HVHS' solid market position, sustained positive operating margins, light debt burden and stable unrestricted reserves. S&P also acknowledged the health system's competitive market and decreasing patient volume.
The outlook is stable.
S&P is planning to withdraw the rating at the issuer's request. However, it has not been withdrawn yet.
