Under the partnership, the organizations will deploy RowdMap’s risk-assessment solution on physicians to compare medical treatments and outcomes. The benchmarks identify medical treatments that produce the same outcomes as lower risk and lower cost alternatives, known as low-value or no-value care.
The collaboration aims to help patients avoid excessive costs and potential health risks through more informed care decisions.
“While the health delivery system has been identifying no-value care to succeed in risk, little to none of this information has been available to consumers and patients,” said RowdMap CEO Melanie Rosenthal. “This collaboration helps empower patients to help them make better decisions.”
