The six-story facility, which will house 13 23-hour patient beds, will provide a range of services, including urgent care. It will cost about $36 million and lead to the creation of 80 new jobs, River Health officials say.
The outpatient center could eventually expand to include overnight inpatient beds and an emergency department, according to Larry Christman, COO of Riverview Health.
The health system also plans to expand its 156-bed main hospital in Noblesville.
