The application requires River’s Edge Hospital to submit designs and design development documents to the USDA. McGough Construction, a Saint Paul, Minn.-based construction management firm, will begin creating the plans necessary for the application.

The project includes construction of surgical operating rooms, patient rooms, emergency department space, urgent care, pharmacy and other areas, according to the report.

Design proposals are due to the USDA in a few months. Construction is set to begin in 2018.
