Ember AI, a Burlingame, Calif.-based, AI-powered revenue integrity platform, said the company achieved 433% growth of its customer base over the past year while maintaining 100% customer retention, according to a Sept. 22 news release shared with Becker’s.

The platform supports nearly 100 clinics across 11 specialties — including ophthalmology, dermatology, cardiology, orthopedics and ENT — as well as hospitals and health systems, processing approximately 16 million healthcare transactions annually, according to the release.

Unlike traditional revenue cycle tools that flag problems after claim submission, Ember AI said the platform analyzes every encounter pre-submission to identify coding issues, documentation gaps, reimbursement risks and payer inconsistencies, according to the release. Post-submission, the platform pursues underpayment recovery and denial management with a goal of zero claim rejections.

“Revenue integrity is much broader than denial management,” said Charlene Wang, CEO and co-founder of Ember AI. “The biggest opportunities often exist before a claim is ever submitted.”
