Med-Metrix has signed a definitive agreement to acquire CanAide from HCAP Partners.
CanAide provides technology-enabled services that help healthcare providers improve patient access and optimize their front-end revenue cycle performance, according to a June 10 news release.
Med-Metrix said the proposed acquisition reflects the company’s continued investment in building a fully integrated, end-to-end revenue cycle platform. CanAide’s addition will help the company identify coverage opportunities, including Medicaid eligibility, improve affordability pathways and increase overall net revenue yield for its growing list of health system clients.
The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions.
The definitive agreement is the second that Med-Metrix has signed in less than a week. On June 4, Med-Metrix entered into an agreement to acquire Vitalware, a cloud-based revenue integrity and chargemaster management software company, from Health Catalyst. The deal will add Vitalware’s mid-revenue cycle software capabilities to Med-Metrix’s existing technology-enabled revenue cycle management platform.
