IKS Health has completed its $557 million acquisition of TruBridge, which provides revenue cycle management and EHR services for rural and community hospitals.
Following the closing, TruBridge operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of IKS Health, according to a July 9 news release. The combined organization supports more than 2,000 healthcare organizations and more than 150,000 clinicians across the U.S.
Chris Fowler, CEO of TruBridge, said the two companies “share a deep, long-term commitment to helping healthcare organizations run efficiently, strengthen their financial health, and empower clinicians to practice at the top of their license.” Existing products from both companies will remain available as standalone offerings, and customers can expect uninterrupted support, according to the release.
IKS Health said the acquisition positions the company to pursue a $260 billion total addressable market in rural and community health.
The closure of the deal comes after IKS signed a definitive agreement in April to acquire TruBridge.
