Experity has acquired Exdion Healthcare, an AI-driven revenue cycle management company.

The deal folds Exdion’s automated coding, billing and compliance software into Experity’s platform, which serves nearly half of all urgent care clinics in the U.S., according to a July 1 news release.

The acquisition targets the patient chart-to-cash cycle, automating claims coding, denial management and reimbursement tracking for urgent care operators, according to the release.

Exdion Healthcare’s insurance-focused affiliate is not included in the transaction and will continue to operate independently.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
