Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Healthcare Systems of America has struck a revenue cycle outsourcing partnership with Conifer Health Solutions.
Under the terms of the multi-year deal, Conifer will provide end-to-end revenue cycle management services for the eight-hospital health system, which has facilities in Florida, Texas and Louisiana, according to a March 24 news release. Conifer will deploy its full suite of applications across all the system’s hospitals.
“This partnership aligns squarely with our strategic priority to invest in forward-thinking technologies that enhance operational excellence and support the communities we serve,” Healthcare Systems of America CEO Faisal Gill said in the release.
Conifer is owned by Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare. The for-profit health system regained full ownership of Conifer earlier this year after Chicago-based CommonSpirit exited the partnership. Tenet said the move will give it greater flexibility to support Conifer’s long-term potential. Conifer plans to expand investments in artificial intelligence, automation and global operating capabilities.
