Private equity firm Blackstone has started discussions with investment banks about a possible initial public offering for revenue cycle management company AGS Health to raise as much as $500 million, people familiar with the matter told Bloomberg March 31.
Blackstone is seeking a valuation of as much as $3 billion for AGS and aims to file a draft prospectus within the next few months, according to the report. Talks are in the early stage, and details, including the size of the offering, may change.
Blackstone acquired AGS in 2025 from EQT AB, another private equity firm, according to the report.
AGS, founded in 2011, employs more than 12,000 people and serves more than 150 clients, according to the report. The company said on its website that it serves 40% of the nation’s 10 largest health systems. Its list of clients includes Phoenix-based Banner Health and Dallas-based Baylor Scott & White Health.
