Revenue cycle management partnership takes aim at surprise billing claims

Revenue cycle management companies Wakefield and Keystone Medical Billing Services have entered a strategic development agreement to address surprise billing challenges.

With the partnership, the companies will create a system that uses advanced algorithms and artificial intelligence to automate the identification and prioritization of surprise billing claims, according to an Aug. 7 Wakefield news release. 

The system will ultimately reduce administrative complications, according to the release.
