Humana to Acquire Medicare HMO Arcadian Management Services

Humana has signed an agreement to acquire the Medicare Advantage HMO Arcadian Management Services, according to a Humana news release.

Arcadian Management Services includes approximately 64,000 members in 15 U.S. states. Its 2010 revenue was $622 million.

 

The terms of the agreement were not disclosed, but the transaction is expected to close in late 2011.
