RelayHealth processes $25B in ICD-10 claims: 3 insights

It has been more than three weeks since the official implementation of ICD-10. Since then, RelayHealth Financial has processed more than $25 billion in claims using ICD-10 codes.

Here are three insights.

1. The $25 billion accounts for approximately 13 million claims processed through the company’s revenue cycle management solutions including RelayClearance Plus, RelayAssurance Plus, ConnectCenter and EDI Services.

2. “Claims are flowing successfully, and now the industry must be ready to tackle the next set of challenges: timely and correct reimbursement,” said Joshua Berman, ICD-10 lead for RelayHealth.

3. RelayHealth is an independent business unit of McKesson.
