Huntley McNabb, Vice President of CarePayment: Marketing patient financial services is good for business. That’s because while patients seek quality care and notice “best” lists, surveys show that consumers increasingly choose healthcare providers in part on how they handle patient financial matters. What’s more, a growing number of patients skip care because of cost from high deductibles and co-pays. As a result, promoting patient financial services is a highly visible declaration that a provider cares about patients’ physical and financial health.
