R1 RCM Q2 financial results

Healthcare revenue cycle company R1 RCM reported revenue of $353.4 million in the second quarter of 2021, up 12.3 percent from the same period a year earlier.

R1 RCM ended the second quarter of 2021 with net income of $18.4 million, up 22 percent ($3.3 million) compared to the second quarter of 2020.

“Our second quarter results demonstrate the continued momentum in our business, driven by strong operational execution and benefits from our investments in automation,” R1 RCM CEO Joe Flanagan said in a news release. “Demand for our solutions remains very strong and we continue to invest heavily in advancing our technology roadmap in order to deliver transformational value to healthcare providers.”

For 2021, R1 expects to generate revenue of between $1.46 billion and $1.48 billion.
