R1 RCM is anticipating “minimal long-term impacts” from Medicaid redeterminations, CEO Lee Rivas told investors during the company’s Aug. 2 earnings call, according to a transcript from Seeking Alpha.

“The data we’re seeing is that individuals removed will either reenroll with updated paperwork or will move into the exchange process and the latter would increase revenue for providers under new commercial policies,” Mr. Rivas said.

He added that they’ve seen a minor uptick in the open uninsured population, but the company has a team dedicated to finding coverage for these claims.

“So, broadly, we are watching this very closely, but no major impact to us,” Mr. Rivas said.
