Quorum selects R1 RCM to provide revenue cycle services at 26 hospitals

Quorum Health has tapped R1 RCM in Chicago to provide end-to-end revenue cycle management services at its hospitals and outpatient centers.

Quorum Health, based in Brentwood, Tenn., has 26 affiliated hospitals and 15 outpatient centers across 14 states, including Tennessee and Illinois.

"Working with R1 will allow us to transition our revenue cycle management activities to a platform that aligns with the needs of our hospitals," Alfred Lumsdaine, Quorum Health's executive vice president and CFO, said in a news release

Quorum Health expects to go live with R1's services in the second half of the year. Other R1 customers include Salt Lake City-based Intermountain Healthcare, St. Louis-based Ascension and Lisle, Ill.-based Amita Health.
