The companies, which are owned by Riverside Partners, a Boston-based private equity firm, will unify under one name: Revecore.

“Over the past 20 years, both organizations have built a strong reputation as the definitive experts in underpayments, denials, automobile and workers’ compensation claims for some of the largest healthcare systems in the country,” Max Osofsky, Revecore’s board chairman and general partner at Riverside Partners, said in a news release. “We are excited for BLS and MRA to maintain their market position as leaders and trusted providers in healthcare revenue cycle management under a new common name.”

The new brand is aimed at unifying BLS and MRA in the revenue cycle  business and helping them invest in infrastructure and technology.

The organizations will operate independently but have a shared services organization that includes the executive team, finance, technology, human resources, legal, and sales and marketing.
