The gift will help fund construction of a new emergency services center and urgent care center.

“This very generous gift will allow us to serve more people in a more clinically advanced, comfortable environment, and with life-saving diagnostic equipment close at hand,” said Kelly Linden, the hospital’s CEO.

The Cusumano family has been a long-time supporter of Providence. In 2010, the Cusumano family funded a radiation oncology department at Providence’s Roy and Patricia Disney Family Cancer Center. Additionally the Cusumanos donated $1 million to support the hospital’s neuroscience institute.
