The network changes apply to Premera enrollees in the individual market with the Heritage Signature network in their health plans, as well as those with employer group plans that include the Heritage Prime network. The network expansion applies to insurance coverage purchased directly through Premera and its affiliates or through Washington Healthplanfinder, the state’s official health benefit exchange under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.
“We are excited to add Premera’s individual and small group plans to the list of Washington Health Benefit Exchange plans featuring Swedish Health Services,” said Anthony Armada, FACHE, CEO of Swedish. “This gives patients another option to access our high-quality care.”
