Hospital employees received only minimum-wage pay for their hours for the third payday in a row. The first two times this happened, it took at least two weeks for the employees to receive the rest of their wages, according to the report.
The hospital, owned and managed by Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Americore Health, failed to issue paychecks due Dec. 21 until Jan. 4. At that time, Americore CEO Grant White said the delay was due to a backlog in collections. Employees had to wait nearly two weeks for their Jan. 4 wages.
