Sharon (Pa.) Regional Hospital has resumed some services after it closed in early January in the wake of Dallas-based Steward Health Care’s Chapter 11 filing.

The hospital’s new owner, Tenor Health Foundation, reopened the facility with limited services March 18 and began accepting patients.

Since then, the hospital has reopened its catheterization and vascular labs, emergency care, cardiac rehabilitation, surgical services for inpatient and outpatient procedures, the wound care center for chronic and nonhealing wounds, and interventional radiology services, Radha Savitala, founder and CEO of Tenor Health Foundation, said in an April 14 news release shared with Becker’s

“This milestone reflects the power of partnership and shared purpose,” Ms. Savitala, said in the release. “Through close coordination with the Pennsylvania Department of Health and the dedication of our clinical and operational teams, we’ve safely restored critical services.”

Sharon Regional is working to restore additional services such as behavioral health and its wound and sleep centers, pain clinic, hermitage diagnostic center and rehabilitation.

Becker’s has reached out to Tenor Health Foundation and will update this story should more information become available.
