The donation will help to advance construction of a facility co-located with immune health, vaccinology, virology and viral immunity, SARS-CoV-2 research, fundamental immunology, scientific collaboration and attract multi-disciplinary investigators, according to a Sept. 28 news release.

The Colton Center for Autoimmunity was founded in 2021 after the Coltons’ first donation of $10 million. The center has one of the world’s largest single-institution immunology communities.
