PatientPay extends deadline for $10,000 billing challenge

PatientPay has extended the deadline of its Healthcare Billing Challenge, in which it asked hospitals and revenue cycle management companies to prove their current billing process was faster and less expensive than PatientPay’s paperless billing platform.

Below are three things to know.

1. Companies that can show their current billing process is incurs less operational expenses and generates payment faster than PatientPay’s paperless platform are eligible to receive  $10,000.

2. To participate, entrants must use PatientPay Paperless for 60 days, after which time the per statement cost and average payment cycle achieved will be compared against submitted verified evidence of companies’ prior billing performance.
