The bonds, which will be issued by the Illinois Finance Authority, will also help refinance an additional $156 million of existing debt. The sale is expected this week.

OSF acquired Presence Covenant Medical Center, a 206-bed facility in Urbana, and Presence United Samaritans Medical Center, a 174-bed hospital in Danville, in February.

OSF, a multistate corporation, serves nearly three million people. The integrated system has 126 locations, including 13 acute care facilities and two nursing colleges.
