Optum has named Valerie Barckhoff senior vice president of revenue cycle transformation, according to an April 21 post on her LinkedIn page.
Ms. Barckhoff has more than 30 years of experience in revenue cycle transformation, consulting and strategic operations, according to her LinkedIn profile. She co-founded and served as the CEO of SHOAR, a subsidiary of accounting and advisory firm Windham Brannon. The company helps healthcare providers streamline processes, boost operational efficiency and improve accuracy by adopting robotic process automation solutions.
“After 11 years of working alongside providers to implement RPA and AI in their revenue cycle operations, I’m honored to take this next step — partnering with the organizations that have entrusted their revenue cycle to Optum and helping to create the revenue cycle of the future,” she said in the post.
