Oklahoma hospitals ink LOI for management services agreement

SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City and Elkview General Hospital in Hobart, Okla., have agreed to have St. Anthony Hospital provide management support services to Elkview General, according to a March 13 news release shared with Becker’s.

Services are to begin by no later than May 1, the release added.

The agreement aims to aid Elkview, as the rural emergency facility continues to provide care to the community and ensure long-term healthcare service stability for area patients.

Elkview General provides a variety of services, among them an emergency department, surgery, radiology and imaging, and laboratory. The hospital also operates two clinics in Hobart and one in Granite, Okla.

SSM Health in Oklahoma City includes Bone & Joint Hospital at St. Anthony and SSM Health Outpatient Center. The system also operates St. Anthony Hospital—Shawnee (Okla.), St. Anthony Hospital—Shawnee, Seminole (Okla.) Campus, St. Anthony Hospital—Midwest in Midwest City (Okla.), as well as five SSM Health St. Anthony Healthplex campuses, six managed hospitals, 18 rural affiliated hospitals and SSM Health Medical Group, also all in Oklahoma.
