Stilwell (Okla.) Memorial Hospital and its clinic are set to close, KTUL reported June 21.
Becker’s spoke with a hospital employee who said only the emergency room is currently open, but they were not sure if or when the hospital will close.
The acute care hospital is a 5-star rated CMS facility, according to its Facebook page.
An employee told KTUL the hospital will close June 27 and its clinic will close 30 days after.
A spokesperson for the Oklahoma State Department of Health said in a June 23 statement shared with Becker’s that while they have received notice that a closure might be happening, they do not have further information at this time.
Becker’s has reached out to the hospital for more information on the closure and will update this story as more information is made available.
