OHC consists of 45 physicians, 15 advance practice registered nurses and a number of clinical support staff. Under terms of the agreement with The US Oncology Network, OHC will remain an independent practice.
“We are basically engaging US Oncology to run the business side of our practice,” Randy Broun, MD, chairman of the board at OHC, told Cincinnati Business Journal. “They will do our payroll, collections and run the IT side of things.”
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
