Ochsner Health receives donation for new neuroscience center

New Orleans-based Ochsner Health has received a donation from entrepreneurs Robert J. and Debra H. Patrick to construct a new neuroscience center at its New Orleans medical center.

The new center will be 132,000 square feet and will include a multispecialty early-onset dementia clinic, a neurological rehabilitation center and an integrative therapies program. 

It will also be the only freestanding neuroscience center offering its level of services between Houston and Atlanta. 
Ochsner Health’s Neuroscience Institute has been named a top national destination for neurosciences and neurosurgery by U.S. News and World Report.
