New York City-based NYU Langone Health recorded an operating income of $107.1 million (2.6% operating margin) in the second quarter of 2026, up from an operating income of $55 million (1.5% margin) during the same period last year, according to its April 29 financial report.
NYU Langone Health reported total operating revenue of $4.1 billion for the three months ended Feb. 28, up from $3.7 billion during the same period last year. Net patient service revenue was $3.2 billion, up from $2.7 billion. Pharmacy revenue was $358.4 million, up from $289.8 million.
Total operating expenses were $4 billion in the second quarter of 2026, up from $3.7 billion during the same period last year. Salaries, wages and benefits totaled $2.5 billion, up from $2.3 billion. Supplies and other expenses totaled $1.3 billion, up from $1.2 billion.
Within the health system, NYU Langone Hospitals recorded an operating income of $193.4 million during the second quarter of 2026, while the NYU Grossman Schools of Medicine recorded an operating loss of $86.5 million.
