Norton Healthcare opens pediatric inpatient, emergency services units

Louisville, Ky.-based Norton Healthcare opened new pediatric inpatient and pediatric emergency services units at Norton Suburban Hospital in Louisville, according to a Louisville Business First report.

The inpatient unit, called the WHAS Crusade for Children Pediatric Unit, includes 14 beds and all private rooms. The pediatric emergency services unit is 24/7.

The units are part of a larger expansion and modernization project that increases the emphasis on woman and child care, according to the report.
