The three innovations are being explored by Northwell Ventures, the arm of the health system responsible for evaluating, developing and financing new spin-off companies based on ideas generated by Northwell physicians, researchers and other employees within the organization.

To encourage the public to vote, Northwell Health is running local television ads promoting the contest during the NCAA basketball tournament.

Now through April 18, voters can visit www.northwell.edu/vote to learn about each innovation and vote for their favorite idea in which they think Northwell Health should invest.
