North Shore-LIJ Health System contracts with Optum360 for registration and billing

North Shore-LIJ Health System, based in New York, has selected Optum360 to manage its patient registration and billing processes, according to a Newsday report.

The 10-year agreement, set to begin in July, will result in approximately 1,000 North Shore-LIF employees working for Optum360.

Optum360, based in Eden Prairie, Minn., will serve 14 of North Shore-LIJ’s 19 hospitals, according to the report.
