The private donation will support a $45 million expansion and renovation of Bryan’s East Campus. The project will add or renovate 14 operating rooms, 42 private patient rooms and 18 recovery rooms. The renovation is expected to begin early next year and be completed in three years.

The donation was from the Acklie Charitable Foundation. In honor of the landmark gift, the new patient tower will be named the Acklie Tower.
